Hostel for Parents

>> Sunday, 4 April 2010

For those of you who want to apply for guest rooms in Mos-Lanka hostel, and those whose parents are going to stay in your own rooms in Dom39, you can send the names to Mohd Faiz Ibrahim (Uncle). YM: faiz_ru

before you send in your names, here are the basics that you need to know:

1. places are limited.

(PLEASE DON'T PANIC)

number of guest rooms in Dom39 is very limited, but Mos-Lanka said they can offer another hostels under them. but until now we aren't exactly sure how many rooms they can give us. they only mentioned that places are limited.

so i suggest you think of a plan B, just in case.

2. only IMMEDIATE FAMILY allowed. (parents/siblings)

please have all the appropriate documents (copy of birth certs, etc) in handy so that you will be able to hand it in later. (we will let you know when to do that)

3. the names that we collected before ARE NOT for hostel application. that is only done as a survey, because at that time we needed to know how many people are attending the ceremony (for hall booking/souvenirs).

**if you have given names to Yasmin and have changes in the details (guests not coming/ addition in number of guests), please get in touch with her (YM: mystykyd86) with your latest details, because we need to update the list of guests.

5. informations needed are:
  • your name and passport no.
  • name of family members, their passport no.
  • dates & duration of stay
  • place intended to stay:
- room number in dom39 if they're gonna stay in your room
- state "guest room" if you want to apply for a guest room in Mos-Lanka hostel

as of now, here are the informations that we do not have (sorry for the inconvenience):
  • how much it would cost per nite (last year it was 550rubs for hostel in Yugo Zapadnaya)
  • where the hostel is (could be any hostel owned by Mos-Lanka)
  • when can you get confirmation whether your application is accepted or not
  • whether people other than parents/siblings can get rooms or not (very popular question. Dean said no for our hostel, but you can try your luck and apply for the Mos-Lanka hostel. but NOT GUARANTEED)

if you have any questions, leave the in the comment section below. we will try our best to help. please read the previous posts (including comments section) to get a better understanding on this whole process, because i can tell that many are still very confused.

thanks for your time.
