ACCOMMODATION FOR PARENTS

finally, here's some good news regarding accommodations:

To those who submitted their names for Guest Rooms:

Our rep submitted the application for guest rooms to the dean&rector earlier this week. fortunately, the rector has signed an approval, which allows parents of the students who applied to stay at DOM 41, 2nd floor.

the price will be 600rubs per nite per person because according to dean/rector the rooms are "new".

however as of now, we cannot confirm how many rooms are available. the rector assured that there will be enough spaces for all guests, but there is no guarantee of privacy (depending on number of rooms and number of guests, some might have to share rooms... and you will have to decide among yourselves, who you want your parents to share with). we will confirm this matter with Dom 41 next week, possibly on Monday.

we will update you regarding the rooms and payment procedures as soon as new informations are available.

To those whose parents are going to stay in your/juniors' rooms:

you are required to submit a Заявление to our dean, Mr. Bespaliuk together with a copy of birth certs and passports of your guests.

then, bring the signed Заявление to the commandant at the 2nd floor office.

you will have to pay the required amount at the Sberbank, 300rubs per person per night (you'll get the Квитанция from downstairs).

Hostel refund.

Dear 6th year students,

As some of you may already know, under the terms of the RSMU Hostel contract signed by all students of RSMU, we are permitted to stay in the hostel only until 30th of June 2010 (officially, the last day of the academic session).

Therefore we need to give the dates of our departure from Moscow to the RSMU Rector, to appeal for an extension to stay till our flight dates. It is under his prerogative to grant our request. Under contract regulations, without this permission, we would be required to pay the 'guest rate' of 300 rubles/ day from the 1st July 2010.

Please submit the dates of your departure from the hostel to your respective Group Leaders or Zahira (zohari_zahira@yahoo.com) by this Sunday, 13 of June 2010. If the date is still not confirmed yet, just give the latest possible date. This applies only to students who are contracted to Mos-Lanka, including ALL MALAYSIAN STUDENTS. Mos-Lanka will be handling this application to the Rector's Office.

To those who have paid their hostel fees beyond their departure date (i.e most students paid for a complete semester ending of 31st August 2010), you are entitled to a refund from Mos-Lanka right up to the date of your departure.

To receive the balance, you need to open an account in Sberbank. Then photocopy the account statement and pass it to group leader by Thursday,17 June 2010.

And to those who paid only until the 30th June 2010, you will have to pay an extra amount according to days that you'll be staying (at the usual 'student rate' ).
The total amount will be confirmed later.

Please take note the strict datelines:

1. For confirmation of your departure dates : Sunday 13th of June 2010
2. Last day for submitting a photocopy of your Sberbank Account information; Thursday, 17th of June 2010

Please respect the datelines given and submit your details on time. This is to ensure that both our application for extension of stay in teh hostel and the hostel fee refund will be successful.
