>> Tuesday, 29 June 2010

Sorry for the late post.A lot of confirmation was needed to be done before putting up this post.

Legalization is a procedure of translation and execution offical documents issued by Russian official bodies so that the documents had legal force abroad. This procedure has its own specifics and requires time consumption.

The procedure of execution consits of several stages:
  • Get a notarized copy of your degree - can be translated into any languages
  • Ministry of Justice (Metro Cvetnoy Bulvar)
  • Get the stamp at the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affair (Metro Park Kultury)
  • Get a stamp from the consulate of the country (Embassy) where you are going to present the documents
A legalization service (without apostille) is offered by Dr Farid for a price of 5500 Rubs. His offer include:
  1. All stamps mentioned on the Original Degree, the Notarized Degree Translation and on the mark sheet (both Russian and English)
  2. All these documents will be sent to the Malaysian Embassy for pick up.
  3. If there is any spelling mistake done in the process of legalization, he will do it again for free.
  4. The process takes about 8-10 days (straight )
Note: Dr Farid is not the only agent who does the legalization process. You can do it yourself or choose other agents for a different price and different time frame to settle the process. It is not compulsory for you to do this process with him but it is compulsory to legalized your degree to be officially use in Malaysia.

If you are interested to do with Dr Farid, just bring 5500 Rubs along with you tomorrow and give to Thivagar or Hamizan along with your diplome at the Embassy.

Extra info : Apostille is a specific procedure of legalization and execution of the documents to be presented in the countries, being a part of the Hague Convention . It is not necessary to those who wanted to work in Malaysia, but you will need it IF you want to pursue your career in those listed countries.
